Eva Horváthová
Eva Horváthová obtained her PhD in environmental studies at the Charles University, Prague in 2016. She completed master's studies in environmental science at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in 2002 and master's studies in economics at the Faculty of Social Science, Charles University in 2004.
She joined Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change, Global Change Research Institute, the Czech Academy of Sciences in January 2019. Eva Horváthová has been teaching a BA course “Introduction to Environmental Economics” at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, University of Economics, Prague since 2017. Before her maternity leave, she worked as a project manager in European Privatization & Investment Corporation. Among her responsibilities were mainly financial modelling and managing projects.
Her research focuses on cost-benefit analyses of climate change adaptation measures and valuation of ecosystem services. Eva Horváthová studies corporates´ environmental impacts, too.
