Eva Horváthová

Eva Horváthová graduated in 2002 with a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the Faculty of Science, Charles University and in 2004 with a Master's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. She graduated from the PhD programme in Environmental Studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in 2016.

Since 2019 she has been working as a researcher at the Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change, Global Change Research Institute, Czech Academy of Sciences. Since 2021 she has been working as a researcher at the Institute of Finance, Mendel University in Brno. She also taught Environmental Economics at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Prague.

Professionally, she deals with the economic evaluation of non-market goods, with a particular focus on cost valuation methods. She also applies the valuation of ecosystem services to cost-benefit analyses and ecosystem accounting. As a principal investigator or a member of a research team, she has participated in several Czech and foreign research projects.
