The methodology defines elementary options and procedures of a long-term socio-ecologic research (LTSER) in biospheric reserves in the Czech republic. The aim of the methodology is to set up a basic framework for a research of socio-ecologic systems in the Czech republic and to integrate a social dimention into long-term ecological research (LTER). A detection of impacts of global changes requires a long-term mapping of development of basic indicators affecting dynamics of socio-ecologic systems. Due to a crucial role of human society in a reshaping of natural environment there si a greater integration of social and ecological disciplines.
